We will meet at 10am in a restaurant in Valsavarenche where we will have a drink...
a coffee together to get to know each other. The restaurant meeting point is communicated by email and WhatsApp 15 days before your departure.
After distributing the equipment, we set off for the Emmanuel II refuge where we will spend the night.
On the programme: a day's hiking in the Gran Paradiso National Park. Once we arrive at the refuge, a good meal will be waiting for us.

After waking up at dawn and having a quick breakfast at the refuge...
To build up our strength, we begin the ascent of the Grand Paradis by headlamp.
Once we have crossed the rocky areas, we move on to the snowy slopes of the Becca di Montcorvé plateau.
From here we start the final stretch until we reach the Gran Paradisio summit at 4061m!
Once we reach the summit, we will be able to enjoy an exceptional panorama of the entire Alps, an unforgettable memory!
We will then descend to Valsavarenche where it will be time to say goodbye.

During this stay you will be supervised by a UIAGM mountain guide with whom you will get to know as soon as you arrive in Valsavarenche.
He will introduce you to the high mountains and share his passion for mountaineering with you. Don't worry, with him you will make your first ascent in total safety!
On this trip you will spend one night at the Victor Emmanuel II refuge. A refuge located in the heart of Europe's oldest national park, the Gran Paradiso Park.
The price includes lunch on the first day and breakfast on the second day.
You must therefore provide a picnic lunch on the first and second day.
We provide all the technical equipment: rope, helmet, boots, crampons, harness, ice axe.

Gran Paradiso National Park is a national park located in the Italian Alps, in the autonomous region of Valle d'Aosta. It is the oldest national park in Italy, having been created in 1922. It covers about 7,000 hectares and includes mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers and forests. The highest point of the park is Mount Blanc, which rises to 4,048 metres. The park is also known for its glacial valleys, notably the Vallée des Glaciers and the Vallée de Cogne. It is also home to a wide variety of animal species such as marmots, chamois, ibex, etc. The park is also a place of great importance for nature conservation and is home to several endemic and rare species.
No, for this expedition you don't need to have a technical level. We only ask you to be in good physical condition and to regularly practice an endurance sport (about 2x per week).

If you need personal equipment such as a 35L backpack, a mountaineering jacket, good gloves,... We work with a partner where you can rent this equipment. Our partner has pick-up points all over France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The Victor Emmanuel II refuge has rooms that sleep four. There are sockets for recharging your appliances and showers.
