Admire the sun rising over the glaciers, walk among the ibexes, walk through the mountains and take in the view, that's what we offer you during our mountaineering course. This week dedicated to mountaineering aims to take you towards autonomy in the mountains. For this we offer an introductory level accessible to anyone in good physical condition. Every day, you will leave with your group of 6 and your guide to learn mountaineering. On the last two days of the expedition you will do a real mountaineering race to reach a summit while sleeping in a bivouac. You will see the description of the week below.

The Haute Maurienne valley in Savoie, the longest Alpine valley, stretches over 120 km between Italy and the Hautes-Alpes. Between its mythical passes and the Vanoise National Park, it is home to fabulous natural areas and magnificent wild mountains. The highest point of the valley is the famous Dent Parrachée (3695m), a varied climb that has become a classic for mountaineers. The Haute Maurienne is also known for its wildlife; marmots, chamois and ibex are the kings of the region and will welcome you majestically into their habitat.
No, we only ask you to have good physical condition. Do you hike in the mountains? Are you able to run 10km in less than an hour? Then you are ready to participate in our mountaineering course.
We provide all mountaineering equipment. If you have your own bivouac equipment, bring it with you, otherwise we rent out sleeping bags, mattresses and tents.
In order to create a good atmosphere, the mountaineering course is dedicated to a small group of 6 people. In the evenings, you will have a drink over a game of cards in the gîte, read a book with a view of the valley, and spend the evenings in the bivouac telling each other the best anecdotes that will allow you to get to know other young people who are passionate about the mountains and who may become your future climbing companions!
