Fascinated by the peaks, which he has climbed with his family since he was a child, summer and winter alike, Corentin moved to the Chamonix valley in June 2019 after taking part in the Mont Blanc Marathon. A keen trail runner and mountain enthusiast, he took part in the Marathon des Sables and is also a mountain guide for groups on trail running courses.
