Meet your guide at around 6 p.m. at your hostel for a welcome drink. This is an opportunity to meet up and check everyone's equipment. You will also have an initial briefing on the tour and the region you are about to discover.

The programme for this first day of hiking includes discovering the mountains and the animals that inhabit them. We'll have a picnic lunch in the middle of the mountain pastures before continuing on to our bivouac site. We'll set up camp at Lac du Mont Cenis and learn about camp life before dining under the stars.

After waking up and having breakfast to the sound of birdsong, we continue our natural exploration. Once we've packed up camp, we're off for another day's hiking, today discovering the higher mountain environments and the flora of alpine meadows. In the evening, we spend the night in a farmhouse gîte and discover the mountain way of life.

Let's make the most of this last wake-up call in the heart of nature, with a sunrise over the peaks of the Maurienne! Before heading back down to the valley
