After a brief introduction and equipment check-up, we begin the 12km trek to the authentic old village of Rougon. Once we arrive in Rougon, we'll settle into a family-run gîte where we'll eat a good meal together and spend the evening and first night.
On the second day of this adventure, we hike around 16km from Rougon to the summit of the Observatoire de Chiran, offering a spectacular 360° view of the Gorges du Verdon.
We spent the second evening and night at the summit, in the Chiran refuge, marvelling at the starry sky after dark.
To begin this 3rd day, we set off from the Mont Chiran Observatory in the morning for a 13km hike that will take us to the emblematic château of Trévans. On the way, we'll visit an old abandoned village.
Evening and meal in the friendly atmosphere of a gîte run by Mireille, in Trévans.
After an early wake-up call and a hearty breakfast prepared by Mireille, we set off on our final day with a ten-kilometre trek. We'll pass by the geological wonder of the tufa bridge, taking a short break to swim in the natural pools.
Evening and meal in an unguarded hut in the heart of the Verdon countryside.
On this last day, we have a final breakfast and return to Trigance with a transfer home organised by us.
